Sinister 7 Ultra

Welcome to the Sinister 7 Ultra, a race that may be the greatest challenge of your life. The 100-mile (161km) course will take you through the most rugged, remote, and beautiful terrain in Alberta's stunning Rocky Mountains. With 6,400m of elevation gain across the course, this race will punish those who are not prepared. The Sinister 7 is open to solo runners or teams of up to seven and racers have 30 hours to complete the grueling 100-mile distance. The course is split into seven stages, each featuring a geographic and historic highlight of the area. There is now also a 50-mile option for those wanting an epic soloist experience at a shorter distance. Racers will have 24 hours to complete the 50-mile course which has 2420m of elevation gain and covers legs 4 through 7 of the 100-mile course. The race also now boasts a 50km distance for those aspiring to enter the world of ultra running, or who wants to race a little faster through nature. The race's name is inspired by the treacherous Seven Sisters Mountain that looms over much of the course. Sinister 7 is one of 5 races organized by Sinister Sports.
