Explore this Provincial Historical Site, now a ghost town! It is the stories that make it come alive! Lille is a Provincial Historical Site and this tour is full of well-researched information presented in a fun and interesting way by professional guides. Your tour starts at the Frank Slide Interpretive Centre. You will meet your guide inside the main lobby. We will go over the day’s activities, hand out lunches, start the tour with a fun hands-on activity, then use the washrooms. You will then drive to the trailhead. The drive is an adventure of its own, and we recommend a high clearance vehicle. Please advise us ahead of time if you do not have a high clearance vehicle. Once we are at the trailhead, we will start the hike. We make several stops on our way into Lille to visit remnants that help tell the historical stories. There is no shortage of stories to share as we head to Lille and to get a better understanding of what happened.
