A Daring Plane Hike

The valley up York Creek exposes some beautiful vistas as we unravel stories of bravery at the Plane Crash. Along the 15km adventure, listen to the stories of local heroes of the Crowsnest Pass, the challenges and unique opportunities that exist for locals living in this mountain community. Learn about the strength and comradery that exists in this special place.

Crowsnest Pass Show & Shine

The Crowsnest Pass Wheel Nuts is a new club for motor vehicle enthusiasts to promote and show antique, collector, rods, muscle and other custom cars, trucks and motorcycles. We also organize group rides, share information and work together to host the Annual Main Street Crowsnest Show & Shine. As part of our commitment to showcase each community of the Crowsnest Pass, we will celebrate the town of Frank by hosting a drive through its Heritage Route after the show, concluding at the Pure Country Saloon.

Summit the infamous ‘mountain that moves’. In 1903, an 80 million tonne rock slide dislodged from the face of Turtle Mountain, causing Canada’s deadliest rock slide. See first hand the massive cracks in the mountain and look down on the slide as you learn about the history, biodiversity and resilient culture of our area.

For singers, pianists, and string players of all ages and abilities! With a focus on chamber music and technique, and breaks for music history, theory, and a wrap up activity each day, this summer music camp has proven a boost to many students over the past five years.

Join us on this once in a lifetime hiking and dining experience. An interpretive hike lead by a certified ACMG hiking guide will take you on the uncrowded trails of Pass Powderkeg, where you will surprise yourself with the biodiversity and stories of the area. Your hike will end at our historic PPK lodge where a unique, sunset dining experience awaits, curated just for you by celebrated local Chef Alejandro Verdi.

Whistler to Table Mountain

Take a shuttle from Table Mountain trailhead with Alberta Parks and Uplift Adventures to the trailhead for Whistler Mountain. Your guide will show you the views from an old lookout station and then traverse across to the famous Table Mountain. During your delicious picnic, we will get stunning views of the Windsor Peak, Victoria Peak and the prairies.

Meet The Minotaur

Meet The Minotaur

Set in the high alpine of the ruggedly beautiful Crowsnest Pass AB, against the continental divide, a new adventure experience awaits. The Minotaur is approximately 15-20 km of demanding mountain terrain, but it’s not a trail race. Competitors will use their mental and physical stamina to overcome natural challenges along the course, but it’s not an obstacle course race. The route will be flagged, but competitors will still test their route finding skills along a changing landscape, but this isn’t an adventure race. So what is the Minotaur? It’s the chance to find out who you are and what you’re really made of.
