Eagles and Birdies

July 3, 2018

Wildlife graze, meander and play on the fairways alongside golf enthusiasts at the Crowsnest Pass Golf and Country Club – a sanctuary nestled in the mountains of Southern Albera
The gorgeous mountain views and serene wilderness surrounding the course are spectacular, and playing a round is an absolute must for golfers of all levels.

The course holds a slope of 134 and has a 73 USGA rating. It boasts four tees, which allows for players to adjust the game to suit handicaps and individual skill levels.

The virtual tour of the spacious course, allows for a full view of each of the 18 holes. There is also a driving range onsite for warm ups, cool downs, or just for kicks.

Whether perfecting a swing or brand new to the sport, the Crowsnest Pass Golf and Country Club also offers lessons with the Head Professional, Jason Roth.

The Clubhouse restaurant is also a top feature of the Club, serving up meals pre- and post-game, during events, and even just for breakfast, lunch, snacks or dinner.

The Clubhouse is also home to the Club’s Pro Shop, staffed by CPGA professionals to ensure that every golfer is on course with the right gear.

Golf season in The Pass runs from early May to mid-October, but sunny and dry conditions have been known to extend the season later into the year. During the summer, the course hosts several charity tournaments.

All season, local wildlife may appear on the fairways, so golfers should keep an eye out (and camera ready) for majestic Canadian critter sightings, including the family of deer who now live on the course.

For course events, tee time availability, lessons and registration, visit the Crowsnest Pass Golf & Country Club website, or follow the Club on Twitter and Facebook.
