1. Crowsnest River
Locals recommend heading to the Crowsnest River to rest, walk, or even fish. The Lundbreck Falls along the way are a great place for contemplation, and for a breathtaking view of The Pass’s main waterways.
This one requires a bit of effort to get to relaxation. Just outside of Blairmore, there is a trailhead to Turtle Mountain. This steep, rugged trail is a two to three-hour escape for visitors looking for a burst of endorphins to help them unwind. Hikers will be rewarded with the solitude of the summit and an unparalleled view of the Frank Slide.

3. Miner's Walk
This historic walk is an easy and scenic stroll (with optional stair climb) through Crowsnest’s past. Between 1909 and 1957, Miner's Walk used to be taken by Coleman miners on their way to and from work at the McGillivray Mine.

4. Chinook Lake
Another local favourite, visitors to this alpine lake can find solitude on its pebbled shores and easy walking trails. Or, consider experiencing the Lake at sunset by canoe, kayak or paddle-board. Chinook Lake also hosts a small campground. After a day on the beach, travellers can pop-up a tent, stoke the fire and spend the night looking up at the stars.

5. Crowsnest Pass Golf and Country Club
The Pass is home to one of Alberta’s most scenic golf courses. Crowsnest Pass Golf and Country Club offers a full 18-hole course and range, a clubhouse restaurant, and a world-class view of the region. Mark your calendars! This year, course will open on May 27 (within the guidelines provided by the Alberta Government).
